I was asked this question and my first reaction was… that’s pretty simple. However,
as we discussed the answer it became clear a lot of people don’t understand branding.
My view is that branding is simply the outbound communication of your value proposition.
Branding, while marketers will get mad at me, is not the big thing… the value proposition
is the big thing!!
Figuring how to best market that value is then what marketers should get paid good
